FAQ

How it works, in plain terms.

Buying, selling, fees, freight, and pricing. If your question is not here, email connor@crosshatchtrade.com.

What is Crosshatch Trading?
A disclosed B2B brokerage for industrial surplus. We match buyers and sellers of pallets, resin, liquidation lots, and other surplus, and take a small disclosed commission. We never take title, custody, or payment.
How do I buy?
Browse the catalog or Market Radar, add items to your request basket, and send a Request to Buy. A person confirms each line with the seller, then you are invoiced and pay the seller directly. Nothing becomes a binding sale automatically.
How do I sell?
Tell us what you have in about sixty seconds on the sell page, or set up a supplier account to list inventory yourself. We match you with a vetted buyer, you set the price, the buyer's carrier collects, and you invoice the buyer directly.
What does it cost?
One small commission on a matched deal, disclosed and agreed before anything moves. There is no fee to browse, no fee to list, no subscription, and no buyer premium on the goods. See the pricing page for detail.
Do you hold or process my payment?
No. Money moves directly between the buyer and the seller, by invoice or by a licensed third-party escrow the principals choose. Funds never route through Crosshatch.
Do you arrange freight?
No. The buyer's carrier collects at the seller's dock (FOB origin). We help coordinate timing, but we never take possession of goods or arrange the transport ourselves.
Why are some prices hidden?
Public visitors see specs and photos; pricing ranges unlock with a free account, and a firm price is confirmed per deal by a person. Surplus pricing depends on grade, volume, and region, so a single public number would be misleading.
What is Market Radar?
A live view of public and government surplus auctions our scouts track across official sources. These are not our listings, they are opportunities in the wider market. Tell us what you want and we help you source it.
Is my information shared?
Your contact details are never published. To speed up sourcing we may post a buyer request anonymously (item, volume, and region only) to the buyers-wanted board. We follow our privacy policy and honor opt-out.
How are deals kept safe?
Every load is photo-documented before pickup, grade is seller-represented, terms are confirmed by a person, and larger deals can use licensed escrow. Our commission is disclosed, so incentives stay aligned with a clean close.
